This gauge is easy to read and the instructions printed on the back of the gauge are adequate. The initial voltage reading was accurate, but the current reading was about half what it should be. There were no printed instructions but I removed the lid and found the calibration pots. The voltage calibration was fine, but the current setting never reached the correct value, leaving an error of about 2% or 3%. It was worth one star. from the overall rating and 2 stars from the accuracy rating. Now I'm trying another gauge to see how it compares. After connecting to my solar system, the current seemed very high and needed calibration again. Now I'm worried that the current reading might not be linear, so I recheck the calibration at several different current levels. Note. I use a Fluke DMM for calibration and the meter has been tested with other meters and voltage standards.
