They're bright, I'll give you that, but they're vertically polarized, not horizontally. Traditional fog lights have a single point of illumination, i.e. the filament, and focus this light through reflectors to create a wide horizontal beam, left to right, narrow vertically, up and down to cut through the fog illuminating the road. If they were rotated 90 degrees that would be great. It would be horizontal. As they are now, they cast a lot of light everywhere just not where they should. I pulled them out to see if they can be changed and they can't. BTY installed on Chevrolet Sonic 17.
