I think semi-opaque is maybe a little generous--these are colored pantyhose without the feet, so they're pretty sheer. If that's what you're looking for, they're great. They come in a wide range of colors and I found mine to be quite comfortable. They're also good for warm weather if you prefer to have your legs covered. That said, they do pick and snag just like pantyhose will. Many reviewers seem to have bought these thinking that they are leggings, which they aren't. If you want opacity and warmth, these aren't the right product for you. If you want sheer, lightweight coverage in nice colors, you're in the right place.
