I have been wearing ECCO for many years and have three other types of shoes in my closet of the same size. It can be seen that the quality is steadily declining. After the third 3+ mile walk the back finally bled and now the crest is thinner due to blood caked over the narrow crest. I had this with ECCO and will buy another brand in the future unless ECCO offers me a good alternative. There are other issues with discomfort, but most hiking or running shoes need a little rest, but this cut on my healing upper is the first.
