Review on Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard Mouse by Kio Walker ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

It is important to pay attention to kits. There are Unifying and regular ones. The former are convenient in that you can replace the bundled mouse with your own (I replaced it myself with 546 and 705), and switch my native mouse to another usb receiver and carry it, for example, with a laptop or give it to good hands =) And ordinary ones work only with their own receiver and nothing can be done about it (believe me, I tried). To some, the price may seem high, but it's worth it. I use two sets (at work and at home). The first one is over 5 years old and works great. Prior to that, I had experience with a cheap set of defender Accent 965 (for 500 for that money; no longer available), so after a year the keys began to stick there, and the keyboard bent like a mess; I took the same cheap one for my mother, so there the mouse wheel from the new one was buggy up / down. Other variants of competitors were cut off even when feeling in stores =) Here, with careful handling, the keyboard will work for years and will not ask for food. Yes, it's more expensive, but again, it's worth it! As for the mouse, it should be added that Logitech, for some reason, only the cheapest (simple) and most expensive (top-end) devices get good build quality - nothing backlashes or creaks. Only the size, unfortunately, is too small.

Pros
  • For starters, this bundle contains a K270 keyboard and an M185 mouse, and is cheaper together than individually + closest in ergonomics to classic keyboards 102/104 keys (numpad, long Backspace, big Enter, in short, everything is in its place, except perhaps for an additional key with slashes near the left Shift, but I removed it so as not to press it accidentally) + the most compact keyboard without unnecessary edges and palm rests; even additional 8 keys (player, volume, browser, mail, power and calculator) do not interfere and harmoniously fit on top + decent performance in plastic, both for the mouse and for the keyboard - play and deformation are minimal for this class of devices (especially compared to competitors) + batteries last more than a year with daily use (even if you do not turn off the device) + you can pull out the legs and raise the front of the keyboard by 8 degrees
Cons
  • - letters on the keyboard of the same color (usually Cyrillic and additional symbols are made red, which is also bad; maybe yellow would be better) - the mouse is small, obviously a laptop/children's version; I think that 300 or 500 series would be better - flimsy retractable keyboard kickstands
