Review on Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard Mouse by Dinesh Anand ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

The set is quite good for its affordable price. Before that, I used two previous MK260 sets for many years - there was not a single complaint. I recently decided to ate one of the kits and purchased the MK270. What was my surprise that it does not support the "universal" Unifying adapter from Logitech, which both MK260s supported! Weekly correspondence with Logitech support did not bring anything, except that after looking at all the photos of the equipment, boxes and receipts, THEY told me that the device does not support Unify! Thanks guys, I came to you with this problem myself! The specification on the site says that the equipment works using the Advanced/Unifying protocols, however. It turned out that the K270 keyboard included in the set can be of two types! Differs by the model-number on the back of the keyboard. Both are called K270, but one only supports Unify and the other only Advanced. There is no longer any compatibility, as in the MK260, which worked both with their own adapters and with Unify. Why make a universal Unifying adapter if half of the equipment does not support it? Why not make a filter on the site so that you can immediately clearly select only what it supports? Why is different equipment operating on different protocols incompatible with each other called by the same name? Why not make two different positions, for example, K270-U and K-270-A? In addition, the mouse in the new set turned out to be much smaller than the standard size (as it was in the MK260), small, oddly shaped and not comfortable in the hand, not comfortable to work with. In the end, I returned the set to the seller and bought one K270 keyboard instead, which supports Unify. The build quality of the MK270 kit that came across to me was simply terrible - everything is loose, rattles everywhere, everything dangles. Both the keyboard and mouse were so disgustingly built compared to the old sets that it was not even a thought to leave these rattles at home. The new K270 (Unify) keyboard is assembled perfectly, like a cast one.

Has some pros Great choice for your money Nice response Got cons: The wheel is not very pleasant, as it dangles a little, but it does not interfere with work

I did not expect such quality from a well-known manufacturer. And the fact that they cut off the shift on their keyboards is cherevato. Now I don't know what to choose instead.
