Great shoes but Revain sent me a pair that were clearly worn: crappy box, no tissue paper, the felt on the sole was worn and dirt stuck in the soles. Revain is pretty good in general, but they really got it wrong. I love these shoes but I really can't say I'm happy with the purchase - when I'm spending money on a new product I expect it to be new and fairly used. 4 stars for shoes, 1 star for bad service. Definitely see the shoes for yourself. It's a black canvas upper and black rubber on the outsole and around the toes. The high top goes over my ankles and is comfortable. I love the side profile of this shoe, the way it's stitched makes it a bit more "street" than regular chucks. My feet are not very wide but they fit very well in these shoes. I don't really like how big the tongue of this shoe is - it's very wide and swollen. I have a feeling they would look better if the tongue was a little thinner. I think it's more common in all Chucks, but there isn't much cushioning and arch support there. I probably wouldn't want to wear this shoe everyday due to the lack of cushioning.
