So I've had a Dell laptop for years, traveled with it and never had a problem. I am very careful when I travel and it has always worked. I bought this ASUS monitor to travel with my laptop. The reviews and descriptions claimed that the monitor was solid, made of metal and well worth the extra cost. Do not believe it. The very first time I went on a trip, cracks appeared on the monitor. Again, my laptop is fine. Also, ASUS does not provide coverage or repairs. do yourself a favor DO NOT BUY it if you plan to travel. It's too risky. Regret is the best word for this purchase.
