Before I start I wanted to state my thread requirements: I am Indian and my eyebrows need to be tinted every week. My upper lips need to be done every week. I'm very happy with this product - I've used it a few times ONLY on my chin and upper/lower lip and NOT on my eyebrows. It comes in a box with a spool of thread and some other items like tweezers. The plastic and cable look cheap, but they do the job. I have tried using Griffin thread with this machine but the thread is not strong enough to withstand the stress. However, the thick cotton thread that comes with it works great. At first I was intimidated by the speed, but once I got over the noise it actually works better than hand carving - it glides smoothly. I only use it on my upper and lower lips and chin. I wouldn't dare use it on my brows as a wrong angle would ruin it. In terms of price, the flexibility of being able to carry out thread cutting conveniently at home cannot be beat.
