Ready to use right out of the box, this item is made from a durable material that appears to be the exact same material that YETI uses for their folding coolers . I've taken it on two trips now in midsummer. Both for 3 days/2 nights. Both rides were in 80 degrees Fahrenheit. On my first trip, I left the entire cooler in the freezer overnight before packing it with cold beer and ice. It held about 18 bottles of beer at the bottom and a 10-pound bag of ice at the top. On the morning of the 3rd day there was still a small amount of ice. On the second ride I didn't cool the radiator. A few more handfuls of ice at the end of the second day, melted by morning, but still very cold water. In general I am very satisfied considering that this is a soft cooler. I also bought it on Prime Day for $115, which is about 65% cheaper than YETI. The only real benefit I can say about Yeti is the heavy duty YKK zipper. The only thing that bothers me about this cooler is that its zipper doesn't seem to be very strong. I've also seen issues on some forums where people said the zipper opens earlier than hoped.
