oh my god. Well I received this with the intention of checking hotel rooms for cleanliness as I usually travel quite a bit. The lamp was delivered today, immediately inserted 3 AA batteries. I experienced a real shock. Like I said don't look at your carpets or rugs, if you get this light you won't have fun. Also, don't look at the sink in the bathroom. Serious. Do not do that. I'm just amazed at what fluoresces in this light; it is quite strong for ultraviolet light. I tried it outside and saw things. Don't say I didn't warn you. Now I have to rip up the carpets and polish the hardwood floors underneath. Pictured is a toilet seat that looks clean to the naked eye under normal lighting. Note to self: buy more cleaning supplies. I purchased this product, I am not a paid endorser. Now I wish I hadn't understood. rats.
