Good But Not La-Z-Boy

If you're looking for a comfortable La-Z-Boy chair, this isn't the chair that will deliver. The armrests were smashed and one of the armrests was scratched but that was obviously damage in transit and probably would have happened as the chair was aged anyway. The back of the seat is quite stiff, some extra padding would have been helpful. The front of the seat supports the hips very well. I'm well under the listed weight limit so I'm not compressing it to the max at all. Relatively easy to assemble, it even comes with a tool! The hardest part was lifting the heavy chair onto the base, that thing is HEAVY! It's the alignment of the armrest with the holes and the annoying noise the plastic in the chair makes when you tighten those four screws. The chair is VERY comfortable in the fully reclined position! Too bad it can't work that way, but it should come in handy for short breaks between emails. The lowest position on the chair is relatively high, definitely reserved for "tall and tall" people. Your legs may dangle if you are under 5ft 6in. Overall not bad but I'm glad I didn't pay $500 for it. Comparable to other chairs in the $200-$350 price range.
