Review on πŸ’Ž Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Microsoft Surface 3 - Scratch Resistant, Bubble Free by Allan Duman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits well and seems to fit well

I've been using an older screen protector of the same type on my Surface 3 for a number of years, but I've encountered an issue which I've been incredibly careful about placing my Surface into the docking station (one that closes on both sides while you hold the tablet). The bottom of the docking station kept clinging to the edge of the protective film, leaning against it and eventually breaking it. Miraculously, this screen protector ingeniously solves this problem. All edges of the screen protector are beveled/tapered so the bottom of the dock doesn't really "hook" like the old screen protector did. Something like this may seem insignificant, but that tapered/beveled edge makes this product so much better than others for my use. That detail aside, I'd say this screen protector is basically "standard" with all sorts of little things you'd expect in a package these days. Installation on my Surface 3 was very easy with the included instruction stickers. The only problem is one that haunts me no matter what brand I use. Unless you apply the screen protector in an environment free of dust and static electricity, it is almost impossible to fully adhere it to the tablet screen without dust and lint. However, this protection seems to stick well without leaving rainbow bubbles and the like. The fit feels pretty solid and secure and doesn't affect the functionality of my Surface Pen at all.
