*update* Exactly one month of wearing this ring every day has passed and all "silver" is gone. Now it's copper. There is no chance it is sterling silver. Original: It's cute, but I bought it specifically because it's silver with gold plating, knowing I'll have something I can still wear when the plating wears off. But after just a few weeks of wearing, the plating they used around the stones was gone, leaving the copper underneath. It's also not labeled 925, which should have been my first clue. It's a cute ring and comfortable to wear, but it's false advertising.
