later I use these pins for 5-1/4" floppy disks because they are solid black plastic and otherwise require a white paper label. You won't see them anymore but I will have taken to using them to mark hot rolled steel I'm sure there are other things they would be great for - black poster board and foam, glass, ceramic - anything you like as a sharp marking line on a dark, low contrast surface This set should get me going for quite some time.
