Worked to add color fairly quickly. The tingling really bothered my fiance but I didn't feel it at all. What really happened was that we both got so "sensitive" that when someone touched us or we rubbed against something, our skin itched like crazy. There was no rash, no hives, no allergic reaction whatsoever. My face was fine, as was my back, my chest, his stomach. The only places we felt itchy were our arms and legs. It took about 4 days for the "color" of this lotion to wash off completely (no showers and scrubs helped) and the itching stopped. I have very sensitive skin on my face and have even used some of these with no problem or itchiness so I don't understand why this has happened on our hands and feet but it definitely makes me doubt ever using self tanner again.
