Review on Dash Stand Mixer Electric Everyday Kitchen & Dining by Ryan Talcott

Don't get your hopes up too high

This little thing is fine. I had high hopes for this because I have a DASH brand fryer and I really like it, but this product has some downsides. As other reviews have said, it's very noisy no matter what speed you run it at. There is a slight difference between the speeds, but the lowest is still pretty fast. My blender attachments broke the second time I used them. And I mean broken, like it fell apart, so I had to throw out all the cheesecake batter and start over. No bueno. Also, it's a different design than a kitchen gadget, where the beater moves around the top of the bowl - the bowl of this food processor spins in circles and you have to mix from the side instead of the middle, or vice versa. Move it manually from one side to the other. It's pretty boring to be honest. Advantage in optics and size. It's very cute and doesn't take up much space on the counter. I like the way it looks. As I'm not a big baker and will most likely only need it for holidays, that's fine with me and I would still prefer it to a hand mixer for my arthritic paws.
