Review on πŸ’Ό HOMEST Medical Bag for Home Health Care by Trevor Blazis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Large internal volume. Durable fabric.

Pros: Storage: Plenty of storage space inside. The inner compartment is 18" long, 6-1/2" wide and 11" high. Larger devices (CPAP, O2 supply etc.) can easily be accommodated in it. Discretion: a pocket...looks like a pocket. Doesn't draw attention to itself or expensive contents - Inner Pockets: 6 wide elasticated pockets inside, good for organizing things that are needed quickly without having to deal with other pockets Slim Pocket: Located on the outside There is a slim velcro pocket suitable for magazines or books.Exterior Zippered Pocket: The exterior zippered pocket is not too wide., so anything thicker than 1" will start to bulge out or into the main compartment .It has transparent pockets so the contents are easy to see.Ideal when you need to show airport security what's inside.Fabric: Heavy duty bag.The outside is a heavy duty nylon webbing with a gray 'bun' ten" pattern.- Usage: Although the bag is marketed for medical use, it is actually a large and durable bag suitable for many people/applications. Side compartments are great for liquids and cosmetics. It even makes a great emergency storage bag for batteries, weather radio, water bottles, first aid kit, flashlight, etc. Then this bag is fantastic. It has the capacity and organization needed for an emergency/assault bag (BOB, SHTF, INCH, etc.). Cons: - Product literature mentions "leather construction". There is no leather anywhere in this bag. - There is no loop on the zip through which to pass the lock and attach the bag. The zippers are just strong. I have no idea why such an important security feature is being overlooked and I think this is a major downside to the bag. The bottom of the bag has no legs, so it cannot stand completely on the ground. I also wish there was an inner plastic insert to keep the bottom of the bag flat. Suitcase Strap: There is a strap on the back that looks like it could fit over the arm of a suitcase...but it's too narrow to fit in one of my suitcases. The above review is for the Homest medical bag.
