Inexpensive little beast in the world!

I have had this flashlight for almost a month now and have used it extensively under various Youtube video test conditions. The best thing about this flashlight is that you get great value for your money. the F7 Mini Light itself, a lens and reticle made specifically for this flashlight, a USB cable to charge the flashlight, a two-piece hot shoe adapter, and a pouch that fits everything into one small portable case. Let's break it all down. :one. The light itself is bright but I wouldn't use it as a keylight for a Youtube setup simply because I don't think it was made for a main keylight. Unless you are a content creator or video/photographer, a key light is basically the main light used to illuminate the subject. If you used this light as a last resort in total darkness would you get any usable footage? Absolutely! The light is powerful enough to illuminate itself and even add softer, more comfortable lighting to your main light for video calls and other personal uses. In fact, I would go as far as to say that 70% of YouTube content creators are amateurs rather than "professional" videographers. By professional I mean those who work in the video industry where they need much more powerful lighting that costs more. For the average user, this mini light is ideal as an extra light source to add to your set.2. The diffuser, which is a white translucent silicone coating that can be added to the light, helps diffuse and soften the light. Soft light means a more flattering image and less harsh shadows. People really like this effect because god knows we all look a little bit heavier on camera, our flaws seem to show up more in video calls than in real life. So softer light helps to hide these imperfections. But remember that adding a diffuser to a light source will lower its output a bit, meaning it won't be as bright. If you've used this for a video call set up as a light to improve video quality, I'd recommend leaving the house lights on, or adding an extra cheaper home lamp next to your desk with a daylight-balanced bulb. This way you can get diffused soft light on your face and the light you have in your house will already be in the background illuminating the rest of the scene. When measuring light brightness, it is important to consider the distance to the object and to the room as a whole. It's just unfair to expect a tiny 12 LED light to light up an entire room. The black honeycomb mesh is used to diffuse the light, which in turn reduces its brightness but also directs the light to the area the user deems appropriate. The black areas effectively absorb the light and the grating controls the direction of the light path. This is very useful when you want the light to focus only on the subject instead of throwing more light onto the background. For video calls this would be fine if your background is a bit dirty and you want the direction of the light to be towards your face. The same concept applies to video, only I would use this light, perhaps as a fill light (to illuminate the opposite end of my main light) or as a hair light to set me apart from the background. These techniques are used to create a more cinematic image.4. The two piece cold shoe adapter is very handy to give the user more control over the direction of the light. There's a flat square on the bottom that fits into the cold shoe mount you'd typically find on cameras. If you don't have a cold shoe mount camera or are using this light for video calling, you can use an optional tripod or table top mini tripod to mount the light and use it with the adapter. The adapter has two adjustable sections, one at the bottom where it attaches to your camera or tripod and another at the top where it attaches to the flashlight with a 1/4 inch thread. This offers more control than just with the ball. Another feature worth mentioning is that the flashlight can be used without a tripod. There are pretty strong magnets on the back of the flashlight. You can use a tripod with light without additional adapters. Several "scenes” are built into the fixture in the form of special effects such as: B. party mode, flash, police, fire engines, etc. Of course, this means that this light is RGB-capable, i.e. has several colors except daylight Sveta. (white, cooler light that we typically prefer for video) and tungsten (light with a more yellowish hue typically found in home appliances). The app for the light is called Desal, on iOS for Apple I downloaded the Desal LITE app. . I like that it's easy to connect and I can control the light with my phone. An added bonus is that you can use your phone's camera to capture a specific color and the light will change to that color as well. My hands semi-disable and Bluetooth connection as well as the external control are the main decision criteria for me when buying flashlights. comparable products with this lamp? The most similar is the Aputure MC, which costs around $100-$120. Depending on when you make the purchase, buying an Aputure MC (which I own) could be tantamount to buying two of these lights. Note that the branding reads Pocketlite instead of Falconeyes, but as far as I know it's still Falconeyes. who made these lanterns. I'm a big fan of Falconeyes because I love their quality and value. For my youtube channel my main key light is Falconeyes SO28TD and it's one of my favorite lights of all time. I can't wait to use the mini F7 a little longer so I can upload a detailed review and guide for this light.
