Despite this brewer's good looks (hence the one star!), its overall design is NOT user friendly. Too much no-no for me. Sieve. It's definitely not big enough to put the ingredients in and add ice, unless of course you just fill the strainer with fruit and then try to fill the inner tube with ice and then try to plug the strainer into the tube with ice put. Pooh! We already have a situation! 2- After finally securing the strainer (with a few crushed ingredients!) to the bottom of the bottle with all the ice cubes I could store inside, I finally turn it right side up to pour in water. (By this point I'm already sweaty and need water!) Needless to say, with everything stuffed into the bottle, there really wasn't enough room to fit a regular sized water bottle in the damn thing! That means I'll keep refilling after a few sips of water. Once again! (You get the picture!). My only other alternative would be to not ice and leave the bottle in the fridge for at least an hour before going out for the day (if I'm thinking of doing this EVERY day!). At the end of the day I go to wash my face. I pulled out this useless (*laughs*) frustrating contraption, only to find that it's quite difficult to clean the lid without getting the wrist strap that's attached to the lid with a key ring (aaaah! fingernail, wet) wet trying to take the damn thing off every time I want to wash it or waiting forever for it to air dry! What makes it even more disappointing is that I bought two and gave one to my sister! At first she tried to be nice but eventually admitted she didn't like it either. We'll leave them at Goodwill next time we're in town. Maybe the next person will find them less awkward. I am very disappointed and will probably have to keep looking!
