I love these little bloomers! Cute, great for warming up and true to size. I'm a size 6 jean but I have big hips (20-21 inches) so I went for the big ones so the elastic bands on the hips aren't too uncomfortable. I would say they fit a bit smaller than pants as I swim in big pants but are pretty comfortable in big bloomers. They are as pictured. I have black plum. The plum is a true dark plum, not purple. Love it!
