I have a couple of mesh jackets that I use for my east coast summer travels. But this one is perfect for those really hot days. The fit and adjustment options are perfect and it is lighter than most other mesh jackets. This jacket represents a price range and is in no way inferior to the competition. The armor is light and perhaps not the most protective, but it can be changed at any time. Also, the rear armor is pretty lame, so I replaced that first thing.
