I just opened these batteries up, so I'm reviewing the same type of battery they replaced. After last Christmas I kept five battery operated candles and remembered to remove the batteries first. Large, very expensive candles. When I took them out of the box last week, I found that two batteries of this type were naturally dead. But the battery compartment was clean and I only had to take out the dead batteries to swap them out. Another story with three other candles. All six of the batteries in the other plugs had leaked from the battery compartment, and even the small springs at the end of the battery had dissolved in some of them. I tried my best to clean them but the candles had to be thrown away. It was impossible to get the batteries working in it because the corrosion was too great. Therefore, the choice of the replacement was of course easy for me. From now on it's called Duracell ProCell for me.
