These are essential when placing the Audioengine A2+ on a table. There's a significant difference in sound clarity when the speakers are pointed slightly up at you, rather than just sitting on a desk aiming for your chest and sound bouncing off the desk. I wish I had bought these racks instead of Audioengine's own. These stands will outlive the speakers, and for some of us, longer than we live. The build quality is excellent and is perfect for the A2+. the speaker sits on and under the stand itself. I had Audioengine DS-1 silicone stands and they fell apart after a few years. The back half of the stand just cracked and fell apart. You will not regret it.
