Review on 🎡 Enhance Your Home Theater Experience with the Acoustic Audio by Goldwood R191-5S In-Ceiling/In-Wall 5 Speaker Set: 2 Way, 1000 Watts of Pure Audio Power by Cameron Reed

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Extremely poor manufacturing and quality control, lack of documentation - not recommended.

Bought for Keller to have sound while working in the workshop. Therefore, audiophile quality was not required, but rather durability/humidity resistance. 3 out of 5 speakers in my R191 pack squeak or have hiss/distortion. Solder residue is everywhere. Their manufacture must be the worst I've ever seen. The supplied cutting template only gives millimeters, which requires conversion for most people making cuts. Here I do it for you: 6 5/8" = 168.275mm. They don't have any specific documentation, just a generic instruction manual for all of their products. Or a case with holes in it, and since most people throw it at a wall or Ceiling, it all depends on the volume of space between the joists or posts in these cases and will generally be too large The R191 units' Vas, Fs and Qts parameters are required and should be provided by the loudspeaker manufacturer, which is not the case The best estimate/option I have for hull volume is 0.15ft^3. Smaller would probably be better, but I can't build anything smaller in my situation. For reference, that means the hull is 7.25 x 10 x 6" in 1/2" thick material. If you run these speakers with no cabinets behind them, the bass becomes almost imperceptible. To be fair, this applies to most in-wall speakers with a woofer Nothing in the documentation nspackaging talks about what is extremely bad for them. I'm considering a return, it depends on whether or not I can get these speakers to stop the buzzing/rattling. The only advantages here are the cost, ease of installation, and that they gave you a template in the first place. That represents all the stars I gave him. I would not recommend this product.
