This was the first year I've biked to work every day in the Minnesota winter and these pants have endured salt, sand, mud, snow, sleet and only $#% withstood! Weather. It is comfortable to wear in temperatures from -17 to 45 degrees. In warmer temperatures it can get a bit warm on long journeys. If you are completely dry in heavy rain and driving through wet roads without a fender, you will most likely feel a little moisture along the rear seam, but this will never leave you indifferent. You don't have to wear anything other than cycling shorts underneath if you want. As I work in a hospital I wear gowns underneath and they have plenty of room without being too bulky. Measurements: I'm 6ft 1in (6ft 2in on a good day) and about 180, waist 33-34in depending on what jeans I'm wearing, but mostly 34in with an odd 33in inseam. After looking at reviews for about an hour I settled on size XXL which fits me very well for the size. If in doubt about buying these pants, buy them. You are worth your money. Now that I know how they work I would pay twice as much.
