Review on 🚲 Ibera Bike Commuter Trunk Bag - Quick Release Clip-On Design with Detachable Shoulder Strap by Pete Brown

This review is written after about a year of regularly commuting with this bag. I really want to love this bag and it's so close to the perfect fit for me but it's holding back but some incredibly bad fabric and sewing designs. Pros: - The mounting system is fantastic. It never left the strut until it was on the curb, barring the bumps, huge potholes and vibration. It sometimes squeaks on particularly rough roads, but that's rare and easy to fix. Spacious enough for everything I need for work. I usually leave my work clothes and shoes on my desk but if I need to take them home to be washed I can easily store a change of clothes along with driving essentials, lock and phone/wallet/keys. I don't think I'll ever use the elastic straps above, but they're actually pretty useful. If I occasionally had to wear large work shoes that didn't fit in the main compartment, I was able to attach them to the straps fairly easily. My headlights are easily knocked off the belt and fall onto the road. Instead, I use a reflective carry handle, which works, but doesn't direct the light in the right direction while driving. Also, the strap began to loosen even after limited use. - Poor fabric quality. It's a real kiss of death for this bag. After just a month or three of use, one of the side pockets (for my wallet, keys, and phone) developed a hole in the bottom that almost spilled my valuables onto the street during my commute. Now, a few months later, the top pocket has also got two big holes, making it unusable as well. I quickly lose the carrying capacity I praised this bag for. The fabric looks strong but is actually too thin, easy to damage, and when damaged, holes spread quickly. last. My current plan is to rip out the entire bag, leaving the plastic base and building or installing a stronger cargo bag inside so I can still use the quick release system. Avoid this bag until you spend pennies more on better materials.
