I received the Maytag Speed Heat Steam Iron and Vertical Steamer with Stainless Steel Soleplate Self Cleaning Function last week and all I have to say is, that "I REALLY LOVE THIS IRON", this is by far the best iron I have ever owned or had. I read ALL the reviews on this iron before I even decided on this iron, but since everyone has their own personal opinion on what he likes and dislikes about something or a product he buys or gets, you should still be your judge when I buy a product and what works for you and your lifestyle, but like I said, I LOVE THIS IRON easy and also love how it just turns itself off when not in use for a long time but as soon as you pick up the iron to use it again, the light goes out t on to let you know it's back on and heats up REALLY fast in no time so you can meet your ironing needs and the way it just glides over whatever you're ironing. This is just amazing to me because the iron I really didn't make or really iron the way I like it now before I bought this iron, but that's probably because it was a "REALLY" light weight iron , and you had to press hard on the iron while ironing to get the desired results, which is NOT the case at all, or what the Maytag Speed Heat steam iron and stainless steel soleplate vertical steam iron with self-cleaning function now do for me . I'm so glad I decided to buy and get this iron so I'm a VERY happy person and love ironing now more than ever and I also love the price of this iron. because even with the more expensive irons you can get you still don't get the results you really want, you just pay a higher price for it, but this iron does what I need, it's a lot heavier than the iron , which I have had before, love the feel of the iron and it's my favorite color - BLUE - which is ALWAYS a plus.
