Perfect Fit on 6v Deep Cycle Batteries

These are a perfect fit for my 6v Interstate Deep Cycle Batteries. I am running six 6v Deep Cycle batteries in my RV, with each pair of two wired in Series, and then the three Series pairs wired in parallel. With that much cable, it was difficult to add additional 12v accessories on the battery's short screws. These are threaded to screw onto the battery terminals, hold down the existing cables and allow plenty of room to add accessories on the top of these extenders.

Pros
  • Got it for a side terminal post that I can't stand.
Cons
  • Ordered two long and one was packaged wrong. The package said long but the part was the shorter version.

I did a duel battery setup on my 99 Tahoe with a 140 amp alternator to boot. There are so many options and opinions I kept it simple but ultimately returned to same conclusion GM did. A junction has to happen somewhere and this post was convenient and don’t look to bad. If I had to do it over again I would have not had top posts at all and kept a cleaner look. If you don’t have a use for all that extra juice no need to get that big an alternator

Pros
  • This works great add 4 AWG cable to terminal. I would buy again and recommend.
Cons
  • The bolt does not always provide a tight fit

Essential for side-post cable upgrades.

These are some nice battery posts. I used them to attach my battery/alternator/starter/ground cables I made for my 2005 Cadillac CTS-V. Buy some extra nuts, 3/8-24. You will lose some! This item is 1 post, so you will need to order quantity: 2. Make sure your connectors have a big enough opening to fit over the post or you will have to drill them out like I did. They seem like good quality. Very pleased with them.

Pros
  • ‎0.8 ounces
Cons
  • The bolt may not be able to withstand high-frequency vibration

Good product, but didn't work for me.

This product appears well made and very suitable for it's purpose (conveniently adding auxiliary connections). It appears to offer enough thread length to connect several accessories, etc. The only problem I had is that it was the wrong thread size for my (2002 Toyota Tundra) battery terminal, so I was unable to use it. The Ebay specification sheet doesn't state the thread size. If it had, I might have avoided the problem.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • The bolt may not provide a snug fit on some battery posts

not a bad thing in my review

Didn't fit for my application but that was just me being not very wise in purchasing. I was unable to perform a very basic connection with my side-post battery with this thing but that is me just being a bone-head mechanic I imagine. Not a bad unit at all, just did not work for me.

Pros
  • Improved performance: With a strong and reliable connection, this product can help ensure that your battery is always performing at its best, providing optimal power to your vehicle or equipment
Cons
  • The bolt may not be suitable for use in high-altitude environments

Does the job good for me

I needed some of these to power the plow on my truck, these were a little longer than I expected and I was concerned the positive one might short out on something but works great and I've had them on there for a couple months with no issues.

Pros
  • November 23, 2005
Cons
  • The bolt may not be able to withstand high vibration environments

Perfect fit Express Van

The 7mm bolt GM uses on the negauve terminal is an absolute joke. The threads on the stock bolt were stripped causing the negative cable to come loose from time to time. Well those days are over. This bad boy fit perfectly and tightly. Worked like a charm on my 2006 Express 3500.

Pros
  • ‎4.75 x 0.75 x 2.75 inches
Cons
  • The bolt may require an additional purchase of a size adapter

Work great for adding electrical accessories to vehicles with side post batteries. In my particular case, this was to add terminals for power wires to my trailer hitch and brake controller in a full size conversion van for towing a large race car trailer. These could also be used for large gauge power wires for stereo installations etc as well.Gave a 4 of 5 because "I love it" just seems a little excessive for battery terminal posts, the price was a little higher than I thought they…

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • The bolt may be prone to galvanic corrosion

Didn’t fit my car for my opinion

They need to provide a means to determine correct fit. It did not fit my battery post, so I am returning it. One was fine but another one broke with minimal torque.!

Pros
  • Worked like a charm for positive on 2002 GMC Sonoma, the old one I had was stripped
Cons
  • One was fine but another one broke with minimal torque.

Bolt was for wrong end of connector-the bolt should have been for the fine thread end as the course thread is supposed to connect the battery cable to the battery. Someone is unclear on the concept I think. Also it would be nice of the course thread end was a bit longer as the cables I used still cinch down tightly but to have little more free play would be nice. Finally it would be nice if the hex surface used to tighten the connector was a little wider as at least half the hex surface gets…

Pros
  • Item was needed that nothing would work out correctly and could not find anywhere for side post battery.
Cons
  • The bolt may not be suitable for use with aftermarket battery terminals

Replaced factory short stud

I replaced a factory stud that wouldn't tighten when trying to place a ring connector in the connection. The factory stud would eventually come loose. I replaced the factory stud with this one and it has been on the vehicle for about a month with and it still tight. The separate nut makes it easy to disconnect and add new connections without disconnecting from battery.

Pros
  • Fit perfectly and the provided nut secured my cable connector nicely
Cons
  • The bolt may not fit properly without modification

Nut on the wrong side

I thought the people who posted about the nut being on the wrong side were, well, nuts.until I received mine with the nut on the wrong threads (the battery side, not the terminal side). Wow. Fortunately, I had a fine-thread nut in the garage that fit, but wow. Maybe I’m nuts? Just beware that yours may arrive with the wrong nut and you will need to purchase your own for the terminal side. 3/8-24 will work. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Pros
  • Gave me the connection I needed for a charge guard to extra 12V outlets in my vehicle.
Cons
  • The bolt may not provide a good connection for high-current applications

I replaced the negative and positive posts on a brand new battery so that I could hook up a LED light bar harness to my 2001 Tahoe without cutting any wires to tap into power. If you are going to add a light bar or other 12 volt appliance to your vehicle I recommend that you check your battery posts to make sure they are long enough to attach a ring connector from the harness wiring. It only took a few minutes to remove the factory posts and replace them with these posts and this made hooking…

Pros
  • ‎Taiwan
Cons
  • The bolt may not meet certain industry standards

Good product, needs insulation!

It makes a great stand off and works as described. What I didn't think about when I was looking at the picture is how much metal was exposed once installed. Without any insulating I'd only use this on the Negative battery terminal. I haven't had it long enough to tell how well it holds up to corroding. Adding an insulating cover to this exposed area would have gotten it 5 stars. If it corrodes quickly I'd take at least two more stars off. Time will tell.

Pros
  • Needed a connector to allow the sub power hook up to battery -- worked great
Cons
  • The bolt is not compatible with all battery terminal connectors

Fit on Escalade 2002

Fit on my Escalade 2002 6.0But I have to cut plastic cover on positive and negative side because I couldn’t remove the old bolts

Pros
  • Increased safety: With its secure fit, this product can help prevent loose battery connections, which can be a safety hazard
Cons
  • The bolt may not be recommended for use with hybrid batteries

Must have! If you’re adding aux lighting to your rig

These things are awesome! They bolted right up to my factory battery bolts and work great. If you’re adding accessories to your vehicle and need to wire them to the battery terminals, then I highly recommend these. Not only do they work, they look legit under the hood.

Pros
  • I like these
Cons
  • The bolt is lacking in aesthetic appeal

Perfect Amp Power Wire Fix.

Good product made install of my amp easier an faster to do as well as a much cleaner more perfeshonal look also gives a better connection well worth the money an I recommend to anyone who is doing or Will be doing a amp install.

Pros
  • As described, nothing special but it works.
Cons
  • The bolt may not provide sufficient contact area for optimal conduction
