Excellent choice for charging/ starter system overhaul and up grade
I did a duel battery setup on my 99 Tahoe with a 140 amp alternator to boot. There are so many options and opinions I kept it simple but ultimately returned to same conclusion GM did. A junction has to happen somewhere and this post was convenient and don’t look to bad. If I had to do it over again I would have not had top posts at all and kept a cleaner look. If you don’t have a use for all that extra juice no need to get that big an alternator
- This works great add 4 AWG cable to terminal. I would buy again and recommend.
- The bolt does not always provide a tight fit
