. end of connector-the bolt should have been for the fine thread end as the course thread is supposed to .

Bolt was for wrong end of connector-the bolt should have been for the fine thread end as the course thread is supposed to connect the battery cable to the battery. Someone is unclear on the concept I think. Also it would be nice of the course thread end was a bit longer as the cables I used still cinch down tightly but to have little more free play would be nice. Finally it would be nice if the hex surface used to tighten the connector was a little wider as at least half the hex surface gets lost on the battery cable insulation

Pros

Item was needed that nothing would work out correctly and could not find anywhere for side post battery.

Cons

The bolt may not be suitable for use with aftermarket battery terminals
