This silicone case solved my problem with slippery hydroflasks. The lower part of the sleeve is thicker than the side sleeves, so it offers better protection against falls. This will definitely prevent dents and scratches. I have quite a few stainless steel water bottles and have dropped quite a few. Even with protective covers, a filled bottle can crumple if dropped. I didn't drop the bottle while it was empty, so I can't say for sure if an empty bottle will survive a fall. I have an 18oz hydroflask and don't have many sleeve options in this size. This Thermi silicone sleeve fits my bottle perfectly. It took a bit of effort to put the case on, but once on it looks and feels good. I am happy with this purchase.
