Small improvements but worth it!

overall I really like this tank! My tap was in 1 gallon and I wanted something bigger because it needs to be in a bigger tank! Pros: - Beautifully packaged and shipped, arrived in perfect condition. They pack it very well! - It comes with a lid (lots of fish spit water or jump so this is perfect) - The top is plastic but doesn't look plasticky or cheap - Comes with a filter and light that work well (lightweight and the filter is the perfect size for this aquarium) - the light makes the aquarium look really bright and if you have colorful fish it really brings out the colors and brightens up your decor! - It comes with a soft gray piece of material that you can place under the tank to keep the water from splashing all over the place when you need to move it to the surface - Easy to install and not too much assembly to run it - The Filter takes up little space in tank: - The filter for this 3.5 gallon tank is MUCH louder than my 10 gallon tank. It doesn't bother me because the sound is relaxing, but if the noise bothers you, I don't recommend this purchase or buy it, just get another filter. - It's not clear what brand the filter is, how often to change it, instructions on how to replace it, where to buy more, etc. To turn off the light, you have to turn it off. There is no switch. If your outlet is in a hard-to-reach place, buy an extension cord or buy a different light bulb, as you'll need to be able to get to the outlet to unplug it for the light to go out. Condensation is forming at the top of the tank and I don't know how to get rid of it. I believe it's because there aren't enough holes or air at the top to let it out. Not the biggest problem, it just worries me personally. The pressure in the filters is too aggressive for a betta. My fish is fine, but if it walks right in front of it, it flips it completely. He'd learned not to get that close, but for a tank this small, he shouldn't be pushing her like that. My 10 gallon filter is MUCH less intense and 3 times the size so they could modify a bit. GOOD TIP: Connect all wires for filters, lights and heater (if you buy it yourself) BEFORE screwing on the top. This saves you a lot of time. At night when the lights are on, this tank is even more beautiful! TIP: Acclimate your fish by placing them in front of the filter in a bag, clear cup, etc., especially if they come from an unfiltered aquarium. I went from a gallon with no filter to a 3.5 gallon with filter and heater and all that space and even after acclimatization he was stressed. *Ps: Heater not included but required for most freshwater fish* For the price, it's worth it! Only minor changes can be made.
