I use it to lock my alcohol fridge. Whether it withstands a teenager using a crowbar or rips it open with a wrench isn't the case, but it does keep kids and diners from opening and tasting the liquor. I recommend this product. Bolt cutters will probably cut through it like butter, but that's not necessary in my situation. I needed something that was quick and easy to unlock. The recommendation is to make the numbers lighter or put a light line to read the numbers openly. My wife always turns the lock upside down. I don't know why, but that's how it is. There are 4 numbers you can set. I have a french door fridge (regular size) that I lock.
