OK, but could be better

That's fine, but there are a few tips you really need to follow to get the most out of your cold brew. - Only pour about 2/3 of the ground coffee into the middle sieve - Slowly pour water over it. When the jug is about 2/3 full of water, stop watering. Take a long spoon or bowl and mix the coffee grounds well. You will notice the water getting darker. - After all the grounds are thoroughly mixed and saturated, add more grounds (the more you add, the stronger the coffee will be). - Slowly add more water to the new grind and mix again by about half. - Leave overnight. - Before drinking in the morning, pour a large cup of cold drink and instead of drinking the first cup, open the grinder and pour that cup of cold drink back into the cup. Grind. - Now you can enjoy a cup of strong and very well mixed cold drink. The reason you want to do all of this is to get a nice dark strong cold drink. The ground coffee is compacted in the sieve and the water cannot penetrate it completely, even if it has been left all night. You can tell by the color of the water. The first few times we made a cold drink it was weak and tea colored compared to dark coffee. Mixing one grind and saturating at the same time allows water to seep into all grinds. You *could* skip the last step before drinking, but the reason I pour the first cup back into the grinder is to mix the coffee thoroughly so you don't end up with a weaker cup on top and a stronger cup on the bottom. where the taste has faded Hope that helps!
