Review on Black Metal Mesh Mind Reader Monitor Stand - Riser for Computer, Laptop, Desk, and iMac by Michelle Carey

Made cheap. on monitor stands

I would normally return this item if it wasn't what I used it for. I've only used it to place my Joey (about 6 ounce Dish Modem Communicator) and Bose mini speakers (about 2 pounds, 8 x 2 x 2 inches) on it. It's really weak and will barely support the weight (note that nowhere in the description of this item is the weight capacity stated). I was disappointed when I unboxed it because it was missing two plastic leg guards that fit into the bottom of each leg to prevent it from scratching the surface of whatever you put it on (smoked glass in my case). I threw away the two dirty looking rusty plastic ones that came with it and luckily I had enough of the ones I had bought earlier that actually fit and used those instead. Even though the price is cheap, so is the product. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • REDUCED EYE STRAIN: Creating an optimal viewing environment for work or play is critical to reducing eye, neck and back strain - sitting the recommended distance from the device will help reduce pain from poor posture.
Cons
  • No performance
