Used to adapt the stock XM shark fin antenna to my aftermarket stereo. 2006 GMC Yukon, Sony XAV-1000 and SXV-300 XM tuners. Just had to unplug the yellow connector from the factory tuner above/behind/right of the glove box and then from one side of it. The other end of the cable then goes to an aftermarket tuner that I tie to the post behind the glove box. It has a cord that I put through a slot to get into the back of an aftermarket stereo. The only downside is that the housing of my antenna side connector cracked when unplugging it from the factory tuner, but it still rubs very well. The sound is great and as reliable as the factory system, and it looks so much better than two XM antennas.
