Although I'm a mountain biker who's been riding for over 35 years, I'm fairly new to tubeless tyres, largely because previous attempts have failed miserably and I've returned to the cameras. because they were less annoying. This may change after purchasing these valves. Why? Because they are so much better than other brands I've tried, like Stans valves, and seal great with my Maxxis tubeless tires and DT Swiss rims. I think most of this is the o-ring that sits on top of the rim and under the locknut. I installed Maxxis dissectors on my 2015 Trek Fuel EX7 this weekend and both tires took 10-15 minutes max using the dry method, no mess. I'm sure some of the more expensive valves, like the Muckoff, work great too, but to me, $30 for a set of valves is just unreasonably expensive for two valves. Can't comment on the durability of these valves yet but they appear to be of excellent quality and of course time will tell.
