Great product with thoughtful design

I really like these as there is an aluminum lip at the base of the valve under the rubber seal. This makes it almost impossible to tighten the valve enough to pull the rubber off the stem. It's not a mistake you make often, but it can happen. This design makes it impossible in the first place. It worked great with my DT FR560 rims as well as my Weinmann 80mm double wall rims. A bit short with the DT but still enough room to mount an air chuck.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Fade

better than stocks are good for sport

I've done many tubeless conversions with stocks and never had a problem but these valves are excellent. The reason is the o-ring and the o-ring shaped nut that are screwed onto the valve after installation. The O-ring allows the nut to be tightened without scratching the rim and the O-ring ensures it doesn't come loose. On all of our Stans valve gears, the round locknuts keep loosening. The choice of colors is nice too. If you want it to sit snugly in the rim like a Stans valve, just use a…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Excellent value for money

These tubeless valve stems are very good. They feature the tool-free manual installation of Presta valves into the stem itself. This can also be done with an adjustable wrench as Presta valves have two sides that are intentionally flattened to allow a wrench to grip them. They come with two different rubber grommets that fit the wheel which was nice. The valve covers are also aluminum and have rubber inserts for easy removal and installation when adding or removing air. Overall this is a…

Awesome tubeless valving

Although I'm a mountain biker who's been riding for over 35 years, I'm fairly new to tubeless tyres, largely because previous attempts have failed miserably and I've returned to the cameras. because they were less annoying. This may change after purchasing these valves. Why? Because they are so much better than other brands I've tried, like Stans valves, and seal great with my Maxxis tubeless tires and DT Swiss rims. I think most of this is the o-ring that sits on top of the rim and under the…

You will not be disappointed and excellent value for money.

Very happy with performance, secure fit and durability. I've removed these stems a couple of times when changing band/maintenance and they reinstalled just like the first time and performed the same. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the top before I put the tire back on, but there is a thick, tapered, rounded rubber hub that fits the wheel and after a couple of remounts shows no wear. The same applies to the internal thread for the core. Thread/seal is ok. There is an o-ring behind the…

Thoughtful, Superior Design

Warning: I'm not a bike mechanic, but I tend to be analytical. I feel compelled to write a review for this product. In the past I have used the regular stem type with a molded rubber end/plug that seals the stem in the stem bore. My problem with them is that they seem to pull out through the hole if I tighten them enough that they don't blow air out when I connect the air hose. Here's what I like about it: * This stem has a built in flange, a ribbed feature that prevents the stem from being…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

. I bought these for my Specialized Roubaix after trying regular old tubeless Stans valve stems for a season and encountering intermittent leaks. My bike has DT Swiss R470 tubeless aluminum wheels. Swiss brand DT's tubeless stems use letter box style rubber grommets in the rim so I figured these MBP stems would work better with a similar fit than the small tapered stems. I didn't take into account the extra space of the thick rubber. The connectors take up space, and using "letterbox"…

Pros
  • . Ideal for a small home.
Cons
  • . A dubious purchase for the elderly.
