I recently bought a new vertical compressor. As with almost every vertical I've looked at, the OEM Twist Open dump valve is so close to the bottom that it's difficult to open by hand at best. This solves the problem perfectly. They were always on all the air tanks on my 18 wheel vehicles and I never had a problem with moisture build up as it was so easy to just walk around the truck and tug on the cables to take it off.
