I needed a corset, I could get into without much help for a RenFaire that didnt look too cheap, and this is it. This item does not have any steel or bone stays, so if you are looking for a real one, this is not it, you will need a strapless bra under it, if you are larger than a B cup. The chains and buttons are plastic, but unless someone is on top of you, you cant tell. I purchased a size way larger than my normal size 12, as this is made in China as you do with all clothes made in China, so dont go by the size chart, size up. Since there is no boning, it is comfortable, but if you need a corset to hold you in, this wont do it, this is a fashon one. The material is good, and the stitching is average. Ive seen some reviews where things broke or came apart and Im not surprised, this is for show, so dont cinch it in tight, like you would with a real one, this is more like a top. I tried it on over my chamise and it works for my costume with a strapless push up bra under it, as there is no way this will push up my 32DD's. I do reccomend this, with the aside of size way up, and dont cinch like a corset it may break if you are plus size. The positives are since it has no boning its comfortable for a long day, its not hot, and the only help you will need is, someone to tighten the laces and tie it.
