Given that it is a cheap piece of furniture, this is acceptable. A few minor scuffs, but not in the obvious place. The box is not bulky, but is suitable for small things. It can be set up normally and is easy to get in and out of. The exit is okay. I received the espresso and it is dark brown as expected. The assembly instructions aren't the best, but at least they show you which screws to use where. Step 1 shows removing the box. Mine doesn't slide out, but I was able to access everything by pulling the drawer all the way out. Step 2 shows how to mount the feet upside down on the unit. It quickly becomes clear that you need to lay it on its side, attach 2 legs, flip it over and attach the other 2 legs. Don't put full weight on your legs at this point. WHY? Because when you get to step 5, attaching the top, you may find that the metal plates you installed in step 4 don't line up with the holes in the top. 2 of me were far away. I had to loosen the legs a bit and then the metal plates easily fitted the holes. After tightening them, I tightened the legs again and voila! Everything seems to be fine. Unpacking and assembly took about 30 minutes. The product was well packaged, all accessories were present but without unnecessary things. Also included is an Allen key.
