3 oz containers are not really 3 oz. They are slightly larger than 2 oz and hold approximately 2 2/3 fl oz when filled to the brim and 2 oz when filled to the base of the lip where the cap screws on. The 2 ounce containers hold just over 2 ounces when filled to the brim and just under 2 ounces when filled to the base of the lip. The 1 oz containers are sized at 1.5 oz when filled to the brim and 1 oz when filled to the base of the lip. I measured them in fluid ounces with water. Otherwise they appear to be quite thick and durable. I use them to organize my sprinkles, so I haven't tested whether they're waterproof or can withstand extreme heat or cold.
