I've been using this case every day for work and home for a little over two years and it's still holding up well! Colors are still vibrant, and a few months ago the keys I use most often started wearing out (L-Shift, "C" and space), which is to be expected even on a bare keyboard. The color/design is nice and dark, but not so opaque that you can't see the keyboard backlight when using it. It goes very well with my MacBook Air and Magic Keyboard. It's also easy to clean - I use eyeglass cleaner and a soft cloth instead of household cleaners so I don't wear down the design ink. Wave but it doesn't affect function and again it's over two years old.
