I have previously purchased a CSR dongle which was a "throw" with a cheap Terax bluetooth mouse I bought off eBay. The "throw" should have been "thrown in". Ha. I ended up returning this combination as it worked inconsistently despite trying different drivers. Now this Kensington dongle is the winner. Despite several reviews, I read a Win 7 incompatibility warning that included (at least for now) a CD with the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack Version 7.00.05. Despite a lengthy install on my 5 1/2 year old Dell Inspiron B130 which is now running Windows 7 Home Premium, it otherwise works great. There are no warnings for drivers. I also don't have yellow exclamation marks in my control panel like BlueSoleil does. I've paired it with a Dell PU705 Bluetooth Laser Mouse (sent back to Terax) and a Verizon Wireless Samsung Reality (SCH-U820). The Toshiba stack gives you much more functionality than the Windows 7 stack and outperforms the Bluesoleil software I've tried before. I really like the software. Transferring files to and from my phone is much faster than BlueSoleil. Windows 7 wouldn't let me transfer files from my phone to my computer. Toshiba software does this. The bluetooth functionality of the computer using this dongle is now comparable to my new Dell XPS 1640 laptop with built in bluetooth card. In fact I have the same mouse with an XPS computer with built in Bluetooth and they work the same way.
