Perfect winter boots for kids! Yes, they are waterproof! We bought these snowshoes for my 3 year old to go snow sledding. She played in these snowshoes all day and her socks did NOT get wet! They are fully lined with fluffy warmth and my daughter never complains about cold feet in these boots. If you are looking for very warm and waterproof winter boots for your toddler or child I highly recommend these. Thanks to the wide opening and the Velcro, they are also very easy to put on and take off. You don't fall off your feet. The underside has excellent grip, so little ones are less likely to slip on the ice. They are also light and very cute! My 3 year old daughter loves wearing them even when she's not playing snowballs! This is the second year that I have bought these stylish oversized snowshoes for my daughter. They've vacationed with us in Colorado, Utah and now New Mexico. They hold up very well and are amazing quality for the price. Next year I will buy them again in the next size. I bought these snowshoes with my hard earned money so this is a genuine review from my mom. I always buy 0.5 size larger than she normally wears to accommodate thick socks. You don't even need thick socks with these boots. I would say they are true to size!
