It was a very cool desk accessory until it died during a very brief power outage. We had a 2 minute power outage, I have a generator and apparently I plugged it into an outlet with no UPS. He died immediately after the power went out, and then the lights came back on, but the magnet no longer held the sphere. What a complete disappointment considering my other $20 levitating ball didn't suffer the same fate. I wouldn't buy it again after this experience. Will try another brand and model in the future. So disappointing.
