Review on Xiaomi Mijia Rotary Electric Shaver by Xander Kio Zion ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is average, Im not sure its worth the money.

For an ultra-budget electric razor for a couple of thousand - in my opinion, the device is ok, but you need to be prepared for the fact that you should not expect such convenience and reliability as more expensive options offer. Immediately count on the fact that it will be necessary to gaskets for plastic pins (everyone writes about this), and do not have high hopes for the overall durability of the device - mine lasted less than a couple of years, before the battery died, it is clear that I I won’t carry it anymore, the cost of repairs will be comparable to a new device. Now I'm going to look for a replacement, maybe I'll buy something similar, but to be honest, I'm thinking about taking something more expensive, but that will last five years.

Pros
  • When a new one shaves well, there is practically no irritation. Convenient charging. The battery lasts quite a long time. Easy to clean. Price.
Cons
  • After about a month of use, you need to be smart with the plastic pins on which the knives are mounted - they grind off, and the knives stop spinning. You need to wrap these pins with electrical tape, or heat shrink, or something else like that. Not new knives shave not as well as "out of the box", although then they seem to stop getting dull, because after a year and a half of use there was no significant deterioration in the quality of shaving (in any case, noticeable, as after several weeks of use) In the second year of use, the battery died, the razor works for about five minutes.
