I got them because some of the shoes I wear are for .
I bought these shoes because some of the shoes I wear to play tennis are a bit long due to my wide feet. If I get knocked down and have to run back to the starting line and then stop quickly, my foot will slip into the boot and severely injure my toes. That doesn't seem to happen with these thicker socks. However, they are too thick to wear without pain with my other shoes that fit me.
