Review on 🎒 Chrome Industries Simple Messenger Bag - 13" Laptop Bag: Water Resistant & 12L Capacity by Meg Manzanares

I really wanted to love this shoulder bag as I really like the sleek, minimalist design. Unfortunately, the main compartment closes with Velcro, and none of the pockets in this main compartment have a zipper. I have trust issues with Velcro, other than finding them uncomfortable and noisy compared to other attachment methods. A zippered compartment is located at the front of the bag, but it's narrow and best for thin items. The bag has a padded pocket that fits a 10" tablet (in my photo it's holding a 10.1" Lenovo Chromebook Duet with a sleeve); I can fit my 13.5" Surface 3 in the main compartment without padding, but only (see my photos). The main strap cannot be unfastened quickly, it must be put on over the head. There is a second detachable strap with a quick release buckle that fits under the arm like a shoulder holster and keeps the bag in the correct position when worn on the back (see my photos). For size reference in my photos, I'm 5ft 7in, 165lbs, 36C bust and wear a US women's size 10. Aside from the Velcro issue, this crossbody bag feels sturdy and well made. If it had another way of attaching the main compartment it would be a 5 star product. But as it is I probably won't be using it often and if I had to repeat it I'd order something else.
